Bail out equals booked in

(Red Oak) -- An attempt at being a Good Samaritan didn't work out so well for a Clearmont woman early Thursday morning.

33-year-old Clothilda Dawn Cales walked into the Montgomery County Law enforcement center around 3:30 Thursday morning to bail out a female subject. The lobby receptionist noticed a strong alcohol odor coming from Cales and since the jail can only release an intoxicated prisoner to a sober adult, Cales was given a breathalizer test and tested .093,. That is above the legal limit.

Cales was taken into custody and remains with her friend in the Montgomery County Jail pending an appearance before the magistrate.
